SPIRITUAL HELP

Scripture Reading - Romans 8:26-28

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. KJV

Notice that these verses are speaking about personal prayer, and specifically this is encouraging us to let our reborn spirit pray. Some will call this praying in the Spirit while others will call this praying in tongues. We have been filled with the Spirit of God for such a time as this. In perilous times when so many negative things are going on in the world around us it will influence our personal lives. This is what makes praying in tongues so wonderful because this is a personal gift to enhance your own quality of life. In times like this it is imperative that we communicate with God on a regular basis. We first communicate with God by listening attentively to the voice of His Word, which is spoken inside the Holy Bible. Once we have received the knowledge of God’s Word we are then in the proper position to speak openly with God because we know His preferred language. When we become open to performing God’s Word to the place of submission to His Ways we will crave to have more fellowship with God. The constant study of God’s Word and praying consistently in tongues are two of the deeper ways of fellowshipping with God. The only other intimate way to deepen your fellowship with God comes from worshipping, praising and thanking Him for all He is and forever shall be. Therefore remember to meditate upon God’s Word constantly and to pray in tongues consistently. Then you will experience the reality of verse 28 which promises all things working together for your good because you love God and are following His purpose which is His personal will for your life. Amen!
